Cambridge Online has been revealed last night as a finalist for the first-ever Craig McDonald Memorial Prize, organised as part of the national Digital Leaders 100. Awards. The award is to recognise grassroots organisations working in their local areas to fix the digital divide and a public vote is now open to decide the winner of the £5k prize, who will be announced on 11 November. People can vote for Cambridge Online to win by going to https://digileaders100.com/craig-macdonald. It just takes ticking a box and entering your email, so no time at all to help them in this way.
They were shortlisted for their work over lockdown, which has now supplied about 500 households with devices and/or connectivity (quite a few families with more than one device too) and helped around 700 people more widely with digital inclusion issues. If you know of someone they can help then contact Cambridge Online.
