31 October 2018 - Halloween
People gathered on the grassy area on St Thomas's Square for some Halloween fun - the most popular part by far being the slime bucket with creepy crawlies and eyeballs in. There was a large craft table for creatively inclined to make masks and quite a few enjoyed themselves standing under the ghostly sheets tied to the trees!
People voted on their favourite carved pumpkin and quite a few of the children were in fancy dress. The pumpkin with the most votes was Pumpkin A with the mice. Co-op vouchers will be going to the expert carver and to the winner of the fancy dress - a baby T-Rex skeleton. Runners up were a princess and a furry animal.
Very many thanks to the Co-op for providing the prizes and other items.
